Welcome back to this weeks edition of the Jestr Recap 🎉
We had so much going on this past week and we’re excited to catch you up on everything, from the Roundtable, Feedback Friday, and some of the more exciting things that happened this week in the Jestr Discord.
We’ve got a packed week to run through so let’s get into it!
Creator Roundtable
First off, huge shoutout to Biff for hosting this weeks Jestr Roundtable!
One of the more interesting things talked about in this week’s session was how opinions can be used as a branding tool.
Inserting phrases like “I think” and “which in my opinion”... it sounds small, but it’s actually the difference between a showcase video and a personality. Without an opinion, viewers are just watching a list of features, nothing to agree with, nothing to argue with, nothing to remember you by.
The moment you take a stance, even a small one, people are reacting to you and not just the game, and that’s usually what turns a viewer into someone who actually follows your channel.
If you’ve never been to a roundtable session before, this is an event where creators submit their content to be reviewed by the community, and get actionable feedback on what they can do to improve. If you want to be a part of the next creator roundtable, simply submit to this form and show up to the event on discord, Mondays 2pm EST!
However, everyone is welcome to join and listen in. The advice given to other creators are things you can apply to your own content.
Feedback Friday
This week’s Feedback Friday was EXTREMELY insightful!
We had a great discussion regarding improvements & issues raised by the community. Most notably:
The key application process
Minimum campaign submission slots
Quality of Life improvements to discoverability and filtering on the platform
Along with some clarity on certain aspects of Jestr.
We say this every week, but we are so grateful to have such an engaged community. So thank you to everyone who made it out to the session, let their voices be heard, and are dedicated to building Jestr overall.
Being unhappy with certain aspects of the platform DOES NOT mean your ungrateful. Jestr has been, and always will be, a creator-FIRST platform. So thank you to everyone for making your voices known.

What’s New in the Community?
We sponsored an award at The Streamer Awards 🫣
Jestr is officially sponsoring the Hidden Gem Award at The 2026 Streamer Awards.
If you don’t know the category, this award is for a streamer who deserves way more eyes than they’re getting. Which, if we’re being honest, is the most Jestr award on the entire list. Half this community is made up of people with a passion to make content creation a full time gig. That category exists for you guys.
How cinematic would it be to see a Jestr creator win that award, in a category we’re sponsoring. Let’s make it happen! We should nominate someone from our community who’s been putting in the work and hasn’t caught their break yet.
Voting ends on October 31st, and the full stream will be live on Twitch and Youtube on November 12th at 8:30pm Eastern Time.

More creators following their dream ✨
We’ve said it many times before, but we measure our success not by the amount of campaigns we bring you, but how many of you we can make full-time. This week alone we had 3 amazing creators who are able to do what they’re passionate about, and do it now as a full time content creator!
It’s so crazy to look back and remember when these creators first entered the Jestrsphere. To witness their journey first hand is absolutely incredible to us.

“Almost 3 months ago i stumbled across Jestr, met some genuinely amazing people and found even more motivation to keep posting content and doing my best. I had around 4k followers back then and fast forward to today.. i just hit 10k on instagram!! But the biggest W of all is that content creation has reached a point where i can earn enough to leave my irl job and focus on this full time, while still being able to support my mom and my brother.”

“For the past 10.5 years it’s been my dream to be a streamer. I’ve always been able to easily make people laugh, and I want to do that on a larger scale. Being an entertainer is all I’ve ever wanted to do. I’ve been very inconsistent over the years, but Jestr has given me the opportunity to improve my content, and receive the financial stability to keep doing it long term.”

“I took a big leap, but after a lot of thought, I’m going full-time as a Jestr creator. I handed in my notice at my job last week, and by the end of next week I’ll be completely free. Honestly, I’ve basically been focusing only on this for a good while now anyway. As far as I know, I’m the only creator from my country taking this leap. Wish me luck!”

A Campaign No One Expected 👀
This week we ran a campaign for Valheim’s 1.0 release, and the community reaction was priceless.
Valheim isn’t a small game. It’s been out for years, it’s got millions of players, and it has coverage everywhere. So seeing it come through genuinely caught people off guard.
Because it means this thing we’ve been building for the past year is starting to show. Studios of that size don’t come to a platform unless they trust the creators on it, and that trust was earned by you guys, not by us. Every campaign you’ve submitted to, every piece of content you’ve put out, every bit of quality you’ve raised the bar with, that’s what got a name like Valheim in the door.
So expect more of this. We’re not slowing down.
Subtember to Remember Event
This week also kicked off the Subtember to Remember event with streamers from all over Jestr.
It was fun to see all your different personalities and talent as entertainers! Mahdeen himself made his own Twitch account to participate and support the creators who participated!
Who knows, maybe he’ll even do a stream of his own for this event 🤷
If this is your first time hearing about Subtember to Remember, this event was put together to support the streamers in the community, by collaborating on an organized raid train schedule that runs every Monday & Wednesday through the entire month of September.
