If itâs your first time here, the weekly Jestr Recap is our way of keeping you in the loop of everything going on in the community, without having to scrape through discord to find it.
We had a huge update that dropped this week, a winner for Jestrâs Indie Choice and Steams Next Fest right around the corner.

Content Scheduler đïž
First and foremost, the long awaited content scheduler has finally come to Jestr đ„ł
Youâll now be able to schedule your posts onto Youtube, Instagram, and TikTok directly from the Jestr dashboard.
Some of the cool features from using the content scheduler:
Youâll be able to schedule both Jestr posts AND your other normal posts
If youâre scheduling a post for an embargoed game, it will let you schedule the post and automatically submit it to the campaign for you. So you donât need to worry about submitting after itâs posted
If an embargo shifts, your scheduled post will automatically shift alongside the changed time so you never break embargo accidentally!
Trial reels are supported, your settings are saved for subsequent posts, and everything is linked to the content calendar to make organizing your posts much more simple B)
Huge shoutout to our group of testers who volunteered the past couple weeks to help shape the content scheduler.
Targeted Campaign Responsiveness đŁïž
Weâve heard your concerns about responsiveness regarding targeted campaigns, so we decided to make it so studios must have an automated decision within 24/48/72 hours for targeted campaigns so youâre never left waiting for a response.
Additionally, if your video requires review, these will be automatically accepted within 48 hours of no response.
Finally, keys will ALWAYS be automatically available if the studio provides them in a targeted campaign - that way, youâre not waiting for yet another response.
NOTE: If keys run out, youâll still need to wait until they add more unfortunately đ
The Hidden Gem Award Presented By Jestr (Vote Now)đ«Ł
Jestr is officially sponsoring the Hidden Gem Award at The 2026 Streamer Awards.
This specific award is for a streamer who averages under 200 views, which is the most Jestr award on the entire list.
The nomineeâs are up and you can now vote on who you want to see win the Hidden Gem Award.
Voting ends on October 31st, and the full stream will be live on Twitch and Youtube on November 12th at 8:30pm Eastern Time.

Steams Next Fest Starts Tomorrow and We Have..
Tomorrow kicks off the last Next Fest of the year and yes, we have 66 TOTAL GAMES for the event on Jestr đ
From titles like Loftia to Inkblood, there are so many opportunities to cover games youâre interested in, and since theyâre a part of Next Fest, you can play them too!
Last Next Fest we had 15 games in the top 50 when everything was said and done.
This event lets aim for 20 đȘ
If this is youâre first Next Fest at Jestr, youâre in for a WILD ride. Historically, this is one of our busiest events with plenty of opportunities to cover games youâve been looking forward to.
Because of the influx of campaigns, here are some tips to stay organized and make the most out of Jestr during the event.
Pick games youâre truly interested in. With a ton of campaigns to choose from, choose the ones that you really want to cover instead of trying to cover as many as possible. The process of creating content becomes easier when itâs something you truly want to cover.
Use the calendar view. If you need a way to track when campaigns lift, or organize your videos for the week, use the Jestr Calendar to keep track of everything.
Play games for enjoyment. One of the easiest traps to fall into is getting burnt out. Most of the time itâs because this passion of yours turns into feeling like a job. Play games to enjoy them, take moments to yourself and keep that passion alive!
Critical Reflex Watch Party đż
We are hosting a live watch party in discord for the second annual Critical Reflex digital showcase!
This event is hosted by indie publisher Critical Reflex to reveal brand-new trailers, massive world premieres, and upcoming game demos for over a dozen of their surreal, genre-bending titles.
The broadcast kicks off on Tuesday October 20th, at 1pm EST.
Hop into the Events VC to hang out, chat, and react live with the community as all the announcements unfold in real time. We hope to see you there!
Jestrâs Indie Choice: October Edition Winner đ
This month weâve kicked off the Jestrâs Indie Choice: October Edition which featured 24 horror themed games for every Jestr creator to vote on.
This specific poll was extremely fun to watch because we had 5x the amount of votes than the last one! So before we dive into who won, we first want to thank everyone for participating. From the studios who presented their games, to the creators who voted.
If you donât know what this is, Jestrâs Indie Choice is our way of supporting indie games who may not necessarily have the budget for marketing. So every month weâll gather a list of games we think could use the extra love, and present them to our creators to vote on, and the winning game gets a campaign funded entirely by Jestr!

Special Edition of the Creator Roundtable
With so many things going on this week, we unfortunately had to cancel this past weeks Creator Roundtable.
BUT, we have a VERY special edition planned for tomorrow, where Mahdeen himself will be conducting the reviews!
This is a very cool opportunity because heâs watched thousands of shortform content throughout Jestr, so he definitely knows a thing or two about shortform content.
If youâve never been to a roundtable session before, this is an event where creators submit their content to be reviewed by the community, and get actionable feedback on what they can do to improve. If you want to be a part of the next creator roundtable, simply submit to this form and show up to the event on discord, Monday at 2pm EST!
However, everyone is welcome to join and listen in. The advice given to other creators are things you can apply to your own content.
