Well, well, well… it looks like we’re back with another edition of Jestr’s Choice!
Last month, we launched this series as a way to highlight creators who consistently impress us with the quality, creativity, and originality of their content. The response from you all was awesome, so we’re back with another lineup of creators whose work has stood out across the Jestr community.
One of the coolest parts of building Jestr has been seeing how differently creators approach showing off the exact same game. Some lean into storytelling, some focus on comedy, some absolutely min-max their editing, and others nerd out over every little game mechanic they can find.
That’s what Jestr’s Choice is all about.
While views, earnings, and submission counts are all things still worth celebrating, this series is our chance to recognize creators who are carving out their own style, taking creative risks, and building something that feels uniquely theirs.
Again, this list is not ranked. There’s no “best creator” here. Every person featured stands out for different reasons, and that’s exactly why we chose them.
With that out of the way, let’s get to the creators.
QmanBean
QmanBean is a creator who truly cares about the art of video making, and it’s evident in every one of his posts. Every piece of content he produces is crafted with clear intention, with smooth script delivery, intentional lighting, and visual cohesion that elevates even simple gameplay into something far more cinematic. Instead of presenting games in a purely informational way, he leans into immersion, making it feel like he’s actively inside the experience he’s describing.
In his video about Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth, the level of commitment really stands out. From the full winter outfit to the carefully placed childhood photos, he does a great job of evoking a genuine sense of nostalgia, making you feel the game’s emotional tone rather than just learning about it.

Drift Lissa
Drift Lissa stands out on Jestr as a creator who focuses on what comes after the initial hype cycle, making in-depth guides and tutorial-style content that helps players understand how games work on a deeper level. While most coverage stops at first impressions, she goes further, breaking down interactions, systems, and mechanics in a way that’s both accessible and genuinely useful.
In her video about Far Far West, you can see exactly how effective this approach is. Instead of just highlighting what the game looks like, she digs into how its systems interact and what players can actually do with them, leaving you with a much clearer understanding of the game and how to engage with it.

Biffmatic
Biffmatic is a creator who has seen explosive growth due to his ability to consistently deliver high-quality showcase content. He constantly challenges assumptions about what “works” on short form, focusing on games he has a genuine passion for like RTS titles, colony sims, and automation games. It’s his ability to package seemingly niche or complex games in an engaging way, combined with his fast-paced editing style, that keeps you hooked from start to finish.
In his video about Main Sequence, he does a great job of speaking directly to fans of more niche genres, referencing other popular titles while focusing on the mechanics they care about most. He highlights things like procedural generation, automated supply routes, and empire building, making the game feel instantly familiar and appealing to that audience.

Jacombo
Jacombo is a creator whose content feels instantly comfortable to watch, built around him and his friends playing games together, messing around, and just enjoying the moment. What makes him stand out from other gameplay creators is how he’s been able to build a brand through incorporating his daughter into videos. Their hilarious dynamic makes for incredibly memorable shorts you always find yourself laughing at.
In his video about Project: Doors, that dynamic really shines through. You can hear her jumping into conversations with jokes that are genuinely funny on their own, made even better by how unfiltered they are. The contrast between her baby voice and the surprisingly chaotic humour creates moments that are both hilarious and unexpectedly wholesome.
